This font is based on a freely-available font that comes with Gnome, OpenOffice.org, and other systems. The font claims you can freely re-distribute any modifications you've made to it, provided you don't use the original font name, or the name of the company that made it. On the other hand, I'm sure various copyright laws require me to preserve the original copyright notices, etc... So I'm not quite sure what to do here. If the original company wishes to raise any objections with my distribution of this font, please contact me about it.

Note: I don't have facility to test this font on Windows. I know it works for me in my XFT-driven Linux box, in both Gvim and XTerm. Some people report problems on Windows. I can have a look, but I make no promises here.
